Coach Li Ying
Coach Li Ying has been able to rise to the top of the Wushu world only after many years of hard disciplined work.
China is currently the world leader of this sport. There are literally a hundred thousand Wushu practitioners
of China's National Sport in China alone. Li Ying's dedication enabled her to achieve membership on the
legendary and prestigious Beijing Professional Wushu Team. This is a lifetime achievement that only 10 female
athletes in her age group can obtain in their generation.
While representing her professional team at the National Martial Arts Championship Competition she was
awarded the Most Outstanding Martial Arts Athlete, entitling her as the best of the best. She was the
National Women's Team Event Champion of 1994, 1995 and 1996. Over the years she has won numerous awards
during China's National Competitions evidencing her excellence in the field of Wushu.

Li Ying exploits have been featured in the international publication "Chinese Wushu" and she appears on
the cover of the February 2000 issue. She is a Certified by the General Bureau of National Sports as a
First Class Judge of the People's Republic of China.
Coach Ying is also Certified as a National First Class Judge by the Sports Committee of Beijing. She is
currently employed by the City of Beijing in that capacity as well as the being the Head Coach of the
adolescent team. She is a graduate of the Beijing Sports College.
