Coach Jiang Bang Jun
Coach Jiang Bang Jun was born in 1971. Former major member of the Chinese Wushu Team, he owns a Wushu World
Champion title. He is recognized as an International Athlete of Excellence and owns an official Chinese Wushu
7th degree.
Influenced by his father, he began to practise Wushu in 1982 and graduated from the Shenyang Sports Institute,
Department of Sports Training, in July 1994. Then, he started to work in the Wushu pedagogy office of this institute.
In July 1995, he was invited to join the Beijing Wushu Team by Mr Wu Bin, a very famous Wushu trainer. He then
became member of the team and a trainer.
In May 2000, he was selected by the International Wushu Federation to be the official demonstrator of ChangQuan
(Long Fist Boxing) and participated in the official video of competition forms. Later, he was invited by the
Hong-Kong Wushu Association to train their team before competitions, including the 1999 World Championships and
the 2000 Asian Championships.

In April 2002 he was invited by the Russian Wushu Association to train the Russian
Wushu Team. Now, he's a teacher in the Beijing Wushu Team, and has been invited by the Beijing Foreign Languages
University to train the foreign students Wushu team.
Achievements:
Wushu World Champion (ChangQuan) at the 6th World Wushu Championships (2001).
All-Round National Wushu Champion in 1996 & 1998, in China. There are only five other individuals in
the history of competition who hold two titles. Jet Li is the only individual who holds three titles.
Many times National Champion in ChanQuan, Sword, Spear, 3 types of boxing, double weapons and 3 people
choreographed fight.
